Publish Once, Notify Every Participating Search Engine Simultaneously

This setup tutorial uses strictly authorized, public developer protocols created by search engine engineering teams. By following these steps, you authenticate directly with the search provider. SearchOptiMark never requests your personal email passwords or holds credentials on a third-party server.
An IndexNow key is a simple random hexadecimal string between 8 and 128 characters (typically 32 characters, e.g., 'a1b2c3d4e5f67890123456789abcdef0'). You can generate one inside SearchOptiMark or using standard online key generators.
Create a UTF-8 text file named exactly {your-key}.txt (e.g., 'a1b2c3d4e5f67890123456789abcdef0.txt'). Inside this file, place only your key string. Upload this file to the root directory (public_html) of your website so it is accessible at https://yourdomain.com/{your-key}.txt.
Open your browser and visit https://yourdomain.com/{your-key}.txt. Ensure the page returns an HTTP 200 OK status code and displays only the key string with no redirects or HTML formatting.
In the SearchOptiMark IndexNow Indexer workspace, enter your domain and key. Paste your target URLs and execute. Participating search engines will immediately crawl your verification key file to confirm ownership and schedule the URLs for high-priority crawling.
When a submission is made, search engines query https://yourdomain.com/{key}.txt. If the key returned by your server matches the key sent in the API request, ownership is cryptographically verified.
IndexNow is co-developed by Microsoft Bing and Yandex, and is natively supported by Seznam.cz and Naver. When you notify one participating search engine, it automatically relays the notification to all other participating engines.
